One of the areas in our life that Hubby and I set out to simplify is our diet (we started another Whole30 on January 2nd, but more on that later). My goal for 2019 is to slow down, simplify + organize, and get rid of the extra clutter so to speak both practically and metaphorically. I’m not normally one to make New Year’s resolutions or choose a “word of the year,” but going into 2019 one word kept coming to mind: s i m p l i f y. In the busyness of life and the (wonderful) chaos of raising two young children, I felt like I was drowning in the clutter and disorganization. Once the Weekly Meal Planner was done, I of course wanted one for the month, that matched, so that I could be SURE I wasn’t making the same things over and over… not that it’s likely to happen, but ya’ never know! I’ll confess, that I AM one of those people that prefers not to have the same protein two nights in a row, or the same dish two consecutive weeks in a row… my husband thinks it must be hard to be me sometimes *lol* Annnnyways, here’s the Monthly Meal Planner Printable. There is something so refreshing about a blank slate and a brand new start going into the New Year. Now of course I love to use Pinterest and food blogs for ideas and inspiration and I have subscribed to different meal planning sites, but sometimes I like to mix things up and I still always find myself hunting for an organized way to track what I’ve actually decided on. I have so many, and almost none of them full, except of course the ones I use for Meal Planning, those are well loved, dog eared treasures with a splash of this or that on it from being in the kitchen with me. I’ll admit it, I’m a Meal Planner addict! Who’s with me? I don’t know about you, but I also LOVE stationary! Nice Pens, Cute Post it notes, and most of all NOTEBOOKS….
